— The Woven Threads Team.

Care begins with connection.

The people behind Woven Threads help create a space that feels warm, thoughtful, culturally responsive, and steady from the first point of contact through ongoing care.

Dr. Hebah Khalifa

Founder / Clinical Director/ psychotherapist

Pronouns: She/Her
Pronunciation: HIB-ah kuh-LEE-fuh

As a first-generation American of Afro-Arab descent, Hebah understands the complexity of navigating multiple cultural expectations and the experience of feeling unseen or misunderstood.

She founded Woven Threads Psychotherapy to create a space where individuals can explore their experiences with greater understanding, self-compassion, and connection. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach that honors the many contexts that shape a person's life, including culture, identity, relationships, and broader systems.

Hebah works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices with compassion, cultural humility, and a commitment to social justice.

In addition to providing psychotherapy, Hebah offers clinical supervision and consultation, supporting the development of clinicians and contributing to a more inclusive and reflective mental health field.

beyond the credentials

Hebah believes that healing often begins when people feel genuinely seen and understood. She is drawn to conversations that help individuals make sense of their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and find meaning in life's complexities. She considers it a privilege to witness the courage it takes to engage in this work and is continually inspired by the resilience people carry, even during life's most challenging seasons.

beyond credentials

Noor brings warmth to the practical details, helping each interaction feel clear, calm, and approachable. She understands that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and she strives to make those first steps a little easier by creating a welcoming experience from the very beginning.

How We Work Together

Woven Threads is shaped by the belief that care is relational. From the first email to the therapy room, we want the process to feel respectful, grounded, and human.

Our team holds both practical details and emotional context with intention, so beginning therapy can feel less confusing and more supported.

Grow with us

Woven Threads welcomes clinicians who value culturally responsive, anti-oppressive, and deeply relational care.
