We are building a practice rooted in care, connection, and intention, and we are looking for clinicians who feel aligned with that vision. Woven Threads Psychotherapy is seeking clinicians licensed in New York or New Jersey to join our growing, fully remote practice serving adult clients.
Location: New York or New Jersey, fully remote
Caseload: Expected minimum of 15 clients
Position: Fee-for-service
Licensure requirements
New York: LMSWs, LCSWs, or LMHCs. Clinicians working toward full licensure are welcome.
New Jersey: LCSWs or LPCs. Fully licensed only.
Our practice centers BIPOC and historically marginalized communities, including immigrants and refugees, LGBTQIA+ individuals, first-generation communities, neurodivergent individuals, and those impacted by systemic inequities. Clinical work is grounded in a socially conscious, anti-oppressive, and social justice-informed framework.
This role is best suited for clinicians interested in building a sustainable and long-term professional home. Woven Threads offers free supervision, ongoing consultation, administrative support, credentialing support, billing support, and opportunities for professional growth and leadership development as the practice expands.

Location: New York, remote
Hours: Part-time, based on university requirements
Stipend: $1,250 per semester, paid upon completion

Duration: Full-year commitment required
Woven Threads offers a paid internship for students pursuing clinical social work or counseling degrees. This opportunity provides hands-on experience conducting sessions, supporting a small caseload, and engaging in ongoing clinical supervision.
Interns will develop skills in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic approaches while practicing in a setting grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
Learning opportunities
Conduct individual sessions with clients
Carry a small caseload under supervision
Complete documentation and support treatment planning
Participate in reflective supervision and receive mentorship from licensed clinicians
Learn approaches that are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and systems-aware
Qualifications
2nd-year or Advanced Standing MSW student completing a specialization year
Interest in psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and professional communication
Comfort with technology and openness to learning
Commitment to ethical clinical practice and ongoing growth
Availability for required internship hours through your university program
Commitment to the full academic year
